10 Greek Street’s latest menu brings comfort to the colder months with a warm seasonal salad, gently spiced, braised beef main, and booze-spiked dessert.

To start, roasted British carrots are piled onto creamy yoghurt, with bitter raddichio leaves and muhammara – a roasted red pepper and walnut dip, which head chef James uses here as a dressing, flavoured with pomegranate molasses, cumin, and garlic.

For the main event, British beef ribs from Paddock Farm are slow-braised in red wine and veal stock with vegetables, thyme, bay leaves and warming spices until tender and sliding easily off the bone. These are paired with crushed potatoes flavoured with sweet roasted garlic, caramelised onions and a hint of golden turmeric. A side of British kale with lemon zest cuts through the richness of the meat.

Rounding out the meal, James tops creamy almond panna cottas with grilled medjool dates and raisins soaked in Pedro Ximinez sherry until plump and juicy. They're then finished with a crunchy almond and cardamom crumb.
